cobraman Posted July 9, 2022 Posted July 9, 2022 I do have that kit but I have not assembled it. I have other that were bought assembled. It is just a die cast model that is sold as a kit and not assembled. You should not have any problems with it at all. 1
conchan Posted July 9, 2022 Author Posted July 9, 2022 Cobraman “You should not have any problems with it at all.” Thanks. I was a little worried about how to paint the body, or if I should even try.
vamach1 Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 You may want to leave the body alone unless you want to change the color. The plastic parts may be a more challenging to paint than styrene as the plastic to me seems harder because as Cobraman mentioned this is an unassembled diecast kit. THe wire wheels are okay for a 289 Cobra but are not realistic for a 427 Cobra that would twist the wheels out of shape on a real one. It will be a challenge to replace them as they are made for this “kit” and not like most styrene kits with two piece wheels.
