One sentence game

Hard to believe we are still getting those poor excuses for sentences.

"Sentences" must be a lot harder concept than I'd been led to believe, apparently right up there with rocket surgery.

Surgery of the d.i.y. nature often ends up disastrous and makes for interesting late night television and news articles.

Articles that don't contain sentences are just picture books.

Books have been written about "breaking the artificial constraints imposed on storytelling by formal structures of language", sometimes referred to as "post-structuralism" and other pretentious "intellectual" drivel.

Drivel was the original name planed for the Dremel tool until they laughed that engineer out of the company and came up with a new plan.

Plan B for repairing my old Dremel involved modifying the motor brush guides after it became impossible to find NOS brushes, and though they've become available again, quality is all over the board.

Board and bored are two words that are pronounced the same, but their definitions are completely different.

"Different strokes for different folks" is not a complete sentence, but this is.

Grasp the pen with buttered fingers and you will end up with a sentence that meanders all over the place and never gets to the point.

Squeeze that big bottle of syrup on them too, then top them with a couple of fried eggs and sausage patties to make my favorite breakfast treat.
