Right now I'm noticing the ads are a bit risqué.

"Risqué bisque" was, believe it or not, a type of adult-themed porcelain figurine dating to the early 20th century, but could also refer to soup made from oysters harvested in months that had no "R" in them, but that would more likely be called 'risky bisque'.

Lincoln Logs were one of the builder toys popular when I was a kid, and they're still made.

Made my way down to the basement where next to the furnace on the shelf is the old Lincoln Log set from the 1940's.

1940s seem to be the period my temperament and interests would have been the best fit with when I was a young man.

On top of my Chevy is falling the snow, I'm so glad that I don't have anywhere to go, for the tires are bald and the street is too, I think I'll stay home, oh yes that I will do.
