First out as the 66 annual then became the 67, but what happened to it after that? Did it become an altered wheelbase dragster, a super stocker with hogged out wheelwells or ?

I can't remember any boxart with other variations.

Chassis and engine got reused in the '68-'69 Torinos.  The body likely got scrapped once those parts were removed.

There was one reissue of the '67, during '67, in the flat box that AMT used for a few kits at that time.

I restored a glue bomb many years ago and did it in a semi-promo style, as the '67 was never offered as a promo. I have always hoped that the tool wasn't scrapped, but having never been reissued, it's not looking very good.

AMT made a mistake in converting the '66 body to '67 trim: they eliminated a crease on the lower body, between the front and rear wheel openings.  It can be put back, the builder would need to take a template off of a '66 body to put it in the right place on the '67.
