Calb56 Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Does anyone cast or print (I can't believe the quality with 3D printing now) these? Years ago, someone cast one for me...and it went bye bye with all my models and parts back in 2009 (Man, I've been out of this for over a decade, when did I start measuring time by decades?). https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/edelbrock-tr1-tunnel-ram-sbc.1013223/ An idea of what they look like... Thanks, Charles Erickson
Mike 1017 Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Charles, That was posted in 2016. I wonder if Edelbrock's lawyers came knocking on his door with Cease-and-Desist court order? Mike
Calb56 Posted August 7, 2022 Author Posted August 7, 2022 Oh, that was a guy selling a 1:1. I just included the link for the images. Charles
Force Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 That intake manifold can't be that difficult to make from kit parts and some styrene stock.

I'd start with this dual quad from Competition resins. Cut the middle out, and make a box from some 4x2mm styrene stock glued together then glue the carb section back on. It won't be an exact replica but neither will anything else you find. Btw, what engine would this be for?
Calb56 Posted August 10, 2022 Author Posted August 10, 2022 Not a bad idea. They were originally for the small block chevy...
Texas_3D_Customs Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 I could do this and offer it on my SBC
Calb56 Posted August 11, 2022 Author Posted August 11, 2022 That would be greatly appreciated! Very cool. Charles

Texas_3D_Customs Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Being worked on now, should be an easy model, but time...
Calb56 Posted August 19, 2022 Author Posted August 19, 2022 No problems. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Charles
