Well I went back and watched an old YouTube video and forgot that this kit contains 2 sets of the pad print Goodyears (looks like 2bigs and 2 littles) as well as the aftermentioned Cragars. I thought the Cragars would be chrome but nothing a Molotow pen won't fix. You also get a set of chrome Chevy rally wheels, nice side pipes, blower dual quad setup and countless other speed goodies. I haven't even decided if I want to build this car yet (more a fan of the '70) so if you are looking for a set of Cragars with pad printed white letter Goodyears, this is definitely the one you want. Whole thing cost me just over $16. 20220809_134706.thumb.jpg.2b872914eb61a71444d5d5c54b17a237.jpg20220809_134953.thumb.jpg.0e511eabb07e75a5f00cda691a6d4351.jpg

That's awesome man.  Here is a tip for those micro brushes though.  You can get 500 or more of them off amazon for like $8.  There good quality too.

Here are my AMT go-to Cragar S/S mags sources. For decades, I've liked their realistic look and Cragar hub detail:

AMT '50 Ford Convertible, '65 Pontiac Grand Prix (deep, wide mags), '65 Ford Galaxie, '65 Chevelle Wagon (and '65 El Camino), '70-1/2 Baldwin Motion Camaro.

Always loved that Motion Camaro. If ever find one on the cheap, I might have to get one.

Thanks for the tip. I use those disposable brushes almost exclusively.

Here are the Mini T's. Only issue I have with them are the old, way out of date pie crust tires. But, those can easily be changed out.

That would make a lot of sense. More for your buck.

You guys have been great with all your help. I can't express my gratitude enough. I have another set of wheels I am looking for and will post that shortly

Ok, you guys are going to laugh at me. First off I found a set of Cragars. You see I was looking for them in order to build the rare 1969 Kumpf/ Kenz & Leslie Special Cougar. They came equipped with a 428 Cobra Jet and Cragars among other things. I chose this kit for the build and lo and behold it comes with the very wheels I was looking for. Boy do I have egg on my face. That said I still want to thank everyone who took the time to help find me the parts I needed.

Oh, OK.

If those are the wheels you're looking for than you're not looking for Cragars, those on the car in the pic are Appliance "Steel Spoke" wheels. They do look a lot like Cragar S/S wheels though.

The wheels in the kit are a factory wheel offered on Mercurys for a couple years.

Thanks for the information, I'm not a Cougar guy but they sure look like Cragars to me. The kit wheels will be close enough I guess.

Most people call a chrome 5-spoke wheel with spokes of that shape "Cragars".  Like all snowmobiles are "skidoos" and and all personal water crafts are "jetskis".

No big deal and 99% of the people out there wouldn't know the difference. I've had to do "close enough" many many times myself when the exact part isn't readily available. ?
