Draggon Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I built this in 1985, so she's going to be 24 this year. Just a simple l'il sedan, lowered a lot with split 'bones, steeleis, and dual exhaust. Flathead with Latham blower and 4 carbs, wired with sewing thread. Testor's basic Orange spray bomb paint done at night in a cold garage. camne out pretty nice and has aged well. Nothing special in the interior except a body colored dash. She is the only one to still survive intact from my old collection.
Bernard Kron Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 It sure did come out pretty nice! The AMT '39-'40 sedan is one of my fave kits. The basic car is very stylish to my eyes and makes for a terrific hot rod build.
horsepoweraddict Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 great looking car and obviously well built. Thats awesome that its still around after all those years. Love these sedans dropped with the steelies like that its just looks nostalgic and right to me and what a great platform for a hot rod. Thanks for sharing that, thats awesome!!!
