ewetwo Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 I've had this quite a wile but haven't been able to find anything on it. I don't even know the brand. It use to be a friction car so it have been given out as a promo? All I know is that it's a Corvette. 1959 or 1960? Thanks.
misterNNL Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 (edited) That matches one in my collection. These were made by PMC (Product Minitaures Corp)and were prone to warping. Should be a metal friction motor chassis with a flywheel. I have literally had mine for decades. Edited September 15, 2022 by misterNNL

The friction motor is missing but is in good shape otherwise. The roof is slightly warped. 1960?

Mark Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 '59-'60 promos were SMP. PMC probably produced those for the toy market. The lack of dated license plates on actual promos was highly uncommon in those days.
