Autocar dumptruck

Decided to build another autocar since they're my favorite. I gound photos of an old construction company in Europe for inspiration

Started off building the frame and adding some airlines and fuel lines. Keystone supplied the  bigger wheels and tires.

Engine was next. Added wiring and fuel lines and other details

Painted and assembled chassis

I made the battery box lid removable using tiny magnets inside the batteries and ithin piece of metal on the bottom of the lid

Starting to test fit the body

Decided to try something new and more difficult. I cut open the doors and hinge them

Had to cut the tub too since the doors where opened

Detailed dash. I cut out and glued on all the gauges from a decal sheet off ebay. Next time i want to drill out the gauges and glue them from the back side

Assembled the interior tub. I had to widen the tub to match the cab

Drilled out the front bumper for the headlights and drilled put the tail-lights. Got the bumper painted up, added aluminum pipe to the back.

Motor mounted up, got the cab and fenders painted and assembled. Got the wiring ran.

I swapped the hood and grill for one from keystone, (definitely the best resin stuff ive worked with and fast shipping). I hinged the hood as well. I also added expanded metal to the back glass

I added photo etched handles to the door panels, (what a pain)

Got it pretty much finished up, need to fix a few things and add some door decals. The mirrors are also from keystone. I wish the bed fit better,( it did but i had to pull it back apart to fix a wiring issue) the trucks in real life where pretty hammered so ill just roll with it lol. I added the fire extinguisher from the parts box to the interior.i covered up my rats nest wiring job and electronics with rocks and dirt glued on a foam block.

Heres the lights lit up. It has running lights, high beams, turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, and hazards. It also has a function that cycles through automatically
