GOTH KUSTOMS Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think there all AWESOME, but hehehehehehe I love the wagon man, hope to see some more of your builds.
Risto Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Thanks Bryce!! Looking even better! Look at the size of that door, and that flowing roofline Oh man, it's really slick!!! The paint looks just gorgeous! I've got a Merc I want to paint in something similiar. Thanks again!
Bryce Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 (edited) Thanks guys – I’m really pleased you like my models. FYI – it’s not a Merc it’s the Revell ’40 Ford Street Rod kit. I chopped the top, turned it into a hardtop, lengthened the doors and rear fenders and pancaked the hood - but otherwise it’s a stock-bodied ’40 Ford! LOL Here’s a few more pics of my latest hot rods. The ’34 loboy is based on the Revell snap tite kit and is a tribute to Robert Lomas’ coupe out of So Cal. I channelled the body, scratchbuilt a firewall, added a Cadillac V8, quickchange rear end and a set of steelies with big ‘n’ little whitewalls, caps and trim rings. This ’32 hiboy is a resin body I cast myself after grafting the chopped roof from an AMT kit onto the Revell roadster body to make an accurate five window coupe. The rest is pretty much out of the Revell kit, with the exception of the stock firewall, Moon tank, Buick nailhead V8, scratchbuilt headers and big ‘n’ little wide whites. Bryce Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Also just finished this one last month – it’s based on the AMT ’51 Chevy BelAir kit. It has a chopped and filled roof, radiused hood corners, reprofiled rear quarters, ‘cove’ and custom side trim, side pipe pods, clamshell hood and dummy spots.
Risto Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 WOW!!! They all look great. Wonderful work. I figured the '34 looked kinda familiar, it's on my to do list as well. And the red deuce is period perfect. OK, show us more!!
fordh8r Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Very nice collection! I can't pic a favorite. They're all nicely done.
