Pretty much the same result. Found many warped parts that I simply couldn't get to fit correctly no matter what I did. Like you, I did put some pieces into my spares box.

Thanks Jim and Bob. I found patience is the key with foiling. And I'll get a certain amount completed and then leave it alone for a while.

Thanks Alan. I've included a picture of the can and I get it at the home center. I like it since it holds up pretty well to more aggressive wet sanding without burning through the finish. And I polish it with Meguiars Scratch-X.

Lacquer clear? You can shoot this over enamel?

The base coat is lacquer. Can this particular clear be shot over enamel? Generally, I'd say no but then I've never experimented with it over enamel.
