TonyK Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 My brother-in-law wants to touch up some outdoor metal Christmas decorations. They're flat metal characters and he'd like to use bottled paint to do the touch up. I'd be able to help him with primer and spray paint but that's not what is needed here. Anyone have some experience with this? Thinking Hobby Lobby might have some type of paint that would work for him? Thanks for any help.
stitchdup Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 i'd use automotive touch up paints or lettering enamels. their made to be used outdoors unlike hobby paints
DPNM Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 (edited) I'd agree with Les. An enamel would probably be your best bet. You can get them in paint pens depending on what he needs. Perhaps Hobby Lobby or a hobby shop. I know Testors has some. I had bought a whole bunch years ago. You should be able to purchase a pack of various colors. https://www.testors.com/product-catalog/testors-brands/testors/enamel-paint/markers Edited November 6, 2022 by DPNM
