Well' the other day I down-loaded a program that the computor warned me against and WHAM ;) - Guess what??Stuff doesn't work now.

I got a POP-UP that say's" The main.idx file is damaged. error: 65-FONL Whatever that means  .

So I gotta take the ol' hard-drive in to the Geek Squad, and getter fixed, so no more pics on any of my projects, 'til I getter repaired.

Guess I better listen up when the ol' "PUTOR" speaks to me - dave

Hope it wasnt like my comp, I cracked a 600.00 micro chip last week, so I'm now on another 300.00 laptop, with payments, how you crack a micro chip I have now clue, I think they were just being nice and not telling me I blew that Dell up, then spent 3 days getting this Hp to perform as well as my Dell did, good luck on your comp'.

Dave I know they'll be EXPENSIVE, but my buddies got a self contained WATER COOLED computer. I don't know where he got it, but he says it's one of the best. Must be expensive caz I NEVER heard of one! Just a thought. Hope you get yours up soon, caz I may start Jonesin If you can't post pics anymore! ;)

If it were me I'd unload AOL altogether!! :P

I had a LOT of internal software troubles when I first got a computer years ago dealing with them. I had to do like you did Dave............take the computer to the shop to have them fix it.

It happened AGAIN three months later when the hard disc froze up! I was computer savvy enough at that point to fix it myself and at the same time, totally DUMP AOL-----which to me always stood for "Almost On Line". :P

The next battle was getting them to stop charging my account AFTER I dumped their service! When I threatened to sue them for theft...........all of a sudden it stopped. ;)
