Thanks Gary, that is exactly what I needed to see. Looking through your pics I see you used 2 Auslow sets to complete the axles/springs. Also, auslow sets include metal rod for axles rod to give extra strength…nice touch. I don’t think I have seen anyone else offer that.

To bad about KFS closing doors they had some good stuff. I was told their molds were sold to various businesses so they will be produced again down the road.

Again, thank you ? so much for your help. Keep on Truckin.

Try STSupply in Canada, typically has them in stock.

Very very nice clean work. Are you winging this, or do you have drawings, or pictures to scale from? She's real nice!

Both, there is a trucking company down the street from my house and I have been stealing pictures and measurements, as well as internet research.

Adding nuts and bolts to the rear suspension. My old hands are not as steady as they once where. Deciding if I want to run airlines for the brakes and air bags. There is no end to the detail that can applied, where do you stop. D1EF3434-8216-4627-90E6-93C7CF45168A.thumb.jpeg.1ec5bc54033f45580e9e3c7ef8340dc7.jpeg

Fantastic work!  Those little Meng bolt sets make a huge impact, and so easy to use

Yes they are. Detailing takes a lot time, hard to know when enough is enough.

Take all the time you need for the details, my friend, you will know when you have reached your saturation point. In the meantime...enjoy the ride!  ?

Air tanks remade to span across the frame rails and detailed. Three different hollow sets of tubing and fittings to fit each hose diameter. Tomorrow start drilling and running brake lines and air lines to the air bags. AF6B542D-C45A-4837-B86E-74431712CB6C.thumb.jpeg.846248e77eed0d2589a21ce76e921667.jpeg7488876A-4720-4844-A919-19265C067BB4.thumb.jpeg.c22ce8ca9bcc599c177ce281ed39cbce.jpeg

Thank you, got a ways to go, but bulk of fabrication is done. Gotta build a truck next.

Looking good!!! The KW makes a good hauler for the trailer, and their not seen much

Agree, but I may build KW T600 with a little shorter wheelbase, that was a truck I started last year but never finished.

The project looks great. Way more skill than I can ever dream of.

Interesting that when I see your builds, I think “which I had the skills to finish builds like Dutzie does” we all have our strengths and weaknesses. I am a toolmaker by trade and love making stuff, just don’t finish well.

Time for primer/paint, then detail it out. ED1B6A1F-B457-4C5B-864F-63231CE28432.thumb.jpeg.b272c95bc3f64a65d4eef927321dba79.jpegFA880221-02E5-4891-AF3F-AE46D1C1052A.thumb.jpeg.d36ca1a7d11fec3be1a49a4f9c68f0e1.jpeg

You can be proud of your model work for this construction process Gary, as your build is neatly built and very clean for the amount of fabrication involved here.
