An "incomplete" recording ; a studio instrumental from Summer or Autumn 1967. Chris Hillman took the song to Manassas who recorded a slower-tempo, vocals-included version for their 1972 self-titled album. 

I'm keen on this up-tempo take - too bad that it never received a vocal treatment.

Another gem from the  Notorious sessions of mid-late 1967. This is Mc Guinn fooling around with the then-new Moog synthesiser - a 9,000$ instrument ! The Moog was used extensively on Notorious (and to a lesser extent on other Byrds albums) - one of the first "Pop" (Rock) albums to feature the instrument ( The Monkees Pieces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones, Ltd. was released in November 1967, beating the Byrds album by a couple of months ).
