junkyardjeff Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Picked up unbuilt mid 60s kit and it's going to get built,it was missing the optional parts so I am going to get some parts from the 70s and later kits. Most likely will be built as a stock looking convertible but with a hot engine under the hood. 1
Zippi Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 I really like the 35,36,& 37 Fords. I'll be watching this one.
junkyardjeff Posted December 2, 2022 Author Posted December 2, 2022 If I can not find a engine from the 70s and newer kits I do have the Olds engine from the early Monogram 32 Ford coupe kit.
Joe Nunes Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Nice to see another ‘36 Ford coming together. I have an original issue AMT ‘36 Ford Roadster on my bench that I am using parts from other kits on to replace ruined or missing items and do the build. Hope you find all the parts you need for your build. It’s fun to work on the old plastic and give them some more “life”. Will be watching your build. Joe
junkyardjeff Posted December 3, 2022 Author Posted December 3, 2022 I am thinking about not painting it and just add some detail to the interior to match the color the body is molded in,it is missing half of the stock engine parts so that is why I am going to try to find the hopped up flathead from the 70s version.
customline Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 I'd like to get my hands on one of those kits..... And suddenly I need a snack.
