On the interior of the body, usually what people don’t see, how much of this do I paint? Will it be visible? I’m currently working on the c7.r corvette made by revel. I’m quite new to model cara, so please I’d love help. Thanks

Before painting or assembling anything, test fit the major parts and take note of which underside/backside/inside areas will be visible on the finished build when turned over, as if for contest judging.  I tend to paint everything just to make sure.

Ok, but even when something is showing, like maybe the underside of the top (the top of the car from the inside perspective) if this is visible, should I keep it the body color, or should I make it the interior color?

I do some detailing to the interior. The only cars that I go full out on the details are convertibles.

can you show me pictures of what your cars' bodies look like from the inside?

Usually interior colour, but try googling images of the actual cars to see what the interiors look like.

ok thanks, mine is a race car, so it's not meant for super beauty on the inside, I'm picturing like semi-gloss black. But for another one of my models, it may not be so

I did a quick search, and it looks mostly black in there in this pic of a 1:1 C7R:

I can't quite tell for sure, there's a lot of stuff in thee, but I don't see much body color showing.  I think a semi-gloss or matte black would be a safe choice...

Ok, that's what I was thinking
