This was the primary reason I wanted to upgrade my printer. I own a 21 gmc and wanted to make a scale version of it. No build progress but I have all the parts printed except the glass

Very cool!

Is this one of Andrey's designs? I've done a couple of his trucks, and they're excellent.

How are you doing the glass?

It is one of Andrey’s designs. I am not sure on the glass yet. I may try to print with clear resin but not sure yet. What is you do for the glass?

WOW! This looks great!

I think the glass can be made from thin flat clear plastic, only the windshield is slightly curved but even that shouldn't be too difficult to fit.

Printing clear will be a challenge I think, or maybe not? I have some that isn't all that crystal clear.

Your real truck looks excellent too!

So far, it's been limited success. I tried printing with clear resin, but I didn't like the results Not really clear at all.

I've tried printing the glass with normally resin, and then using that almost like a mold. Heat up some clear Evergreen sheets and try to form it over the prints. Again, not really working well.

Not sure what my next step will be.
