Timken F-30 rear axle ?

Recommended Posts

Hello folks. I'm tapping into the enormous knowledge of info about resin and/or printed items that all of you possess. A Timken F-30 series rear, or sometimes front axle housing. I 'think' it was used by Ford from 1934 to about 1952 in their 1 1/2-ton trucks? I scratch built one long enough ago as to not be able to remember how I made it. Does anyone know if one is available in 1/24th or 1/25th? I just attempted to make one but the arthritis in my hands had other plans. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

So, would just the center section be good? With a hole through it for brass, aluminum or styrene tube?

This would be easy.

Yeah, I think that is the best way, like a 3.5mm hole through it so you can offset it for the front and have whatever width you need. The flange with the bolts is 14" in diameter or close enough to it.
