Merkur XR4Ti Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Racescale and Slixx decals and Tamiya Italian Red paint. 2
Dave Van Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Steve.....nice work. That car is one of the kinda obscure cars. Mine is different than yours.....I built it way back but I think I just used the Slixx decals....did you use something else?? Thanks
TonyK Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Always liked the Circuit City paint scheme and your model captured it well. Looks great.

Thanks Yes, I built the '96 car using Racescale decals for the main bits and a few Slixx to fill in. The car you built is the '97 car and Slixx decals had that sheet. There are differences between the two schemes as you can see. 1
Albert Moore Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Nice work, Steve. Those Monogram T-birds sure build up into some nice models. Cheers, Albert
D.Pack Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 That's a great looking build. You have more photos to post? Show off that '96 scheme, which I now prefer to the 97 version! Would like to see how you've detailed the grilles too. Am soon to decal my own #8 using Slixx.
