its been a while sence ive been over here, but this is whats on the bench right now.

its a 59 elco gasser so to speak................ but im thinkin its leaning more twards a show rod, the more this progresses ;)

i smoothed out the front frame rails, i got rid of the upper A arms that are molded to the frame, and i added a drop bar, and some parts box leafs ;)

i got the stance ready and the interior painted(a little bit of detail) but not much, it will have windows as well ;) so its not like you'll be able to see in ya know.

but here we go :lol:

I like the color, you gonna try to mold that big ol Studeybakie hood lump on to that hood? It looks to be a killer when it's thru! :D

nah i dont think ima run a hood, im gonna try and detail up that blower set up as much as possible, so the motor will be the show peice of this build B) so why cover it up :rolleyes:

Lookin real good. Fun kit to build. Made me remember to back and update the post I had of mine. Love the wheels and great job on the stance. Keep us posted.

Dude! You are a MONSTER with the BMF!!!! I guess you'd say yer a regler BMF wit da BMF!!!! Your Elky is lookin GOOD!!! Now that I see the color better, it sure IS a pretty color! This is gonna be a NICE lookin build! :lol:

I've always liked the lines of '59 El Caminos, especially the roof overhang. Thank you for leaving the Double Whammy hood bulge off-it's hideous, IMHO.

I like the headlight covers (clear red?), but what would really make the model come to life is red or rose-tinted "glass".

Where did the rear American 5-spokes come from?

as for the american racing wheels for the rear, they came from this kit :P it comes with 2sets of them and one spare too(dont know why haha)
