PITTSBURGH412 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 its been a while sence ive been over here, but this is whats on the bench right now. its a 59 elco gasser so to speak................ but im thinkin its leaning more twards a show rod, the more this progresses i smoothed out the front frame rails, i got rid of the upper A arms that are molded to the frame, and i added a drop bar, and some parts box leafs i got the stance ready and the interior painted(a little bit of detail) but not much, it will have windows as well so its not like you'll be able to see in ya know. but here we go

Casey Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 I've always liked the lines of '59 El Caminos, especially the roof overhang. Thank you for leaving the Double Whammy hood bulge off-it's hideous, IMHO. I like the headlight covers (clear red?), but what would really make the model come to life is red or rose-tinted "glass". Where did the rear American 5-spokes come from?
