I attended the show and per Mark Gustavson's request, gave a little seminar on building my 1/8 scale ed Roth Mysterion model.  They recorded the seminar and here is the link.

I decided to enter the car in the contest.  Turns out the category I entered was also the one that Randy Derr entered his 1/8 scale Corvette race car, Replica.  I won second place.  Randy's car won Best in Class, Best Engineered, Dave Shulkis award, Modeler's Choice, and for good measure, Best of Show!!
