Needlenosehunter Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 While I wait for some parts for my other build I couldn’t help but dig into another?♂️ I recently received my cabs from texas3d and couldn’t wait…… this one I’m modeling after a 1967 day cab single axle. Started by opening up the doors for modelcargarge hinges and marked out the cut lines to slice the cab. I have some real aluminum 5 holes from keystone that I’ll be using and a amt ford donor frame with real aluminum tanks and other cool goodies. If you haven’t gotten one of these cabs I highly suggest getting one? enjoy! The inspiration. 3
Engine 51 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Seeing the pic of that Ford rig sure brings back fond memories. This will be a fun one! 1
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted May 18, 2023 Posted May 18, 2023 Cool project! I like it! My daddy broke his finger in one just like that. It didn’t have power steering. He turned out into traffic and as the steering wheel was spinning back on its own, it caught his finger and broke it. This project calls for a 6-71 Detroit! Looking forward to seeing more! 1

DRIPTROIT 71 Posted May 25, 2023 Posted May 25, 2023 Looks great, but fragile. You’re braver than me. I would have probably broken it already. Looking forward to seeing more! 2
