Late 70s/ early 80s Camaro

I was at hobby lobby and saw the new revell 81 Camaro Z28. I didn't pick it up but when I got home I regretted it. 

However I looked online and it's a snap kit with plastic tires even though the box doesn't say snap

 

Anyway it got me thinking, which is the best available building quality kit out there for that generation of Camaro. I prefer the Z28 look. I'm also looking for one that can be built as stock like you would have been able to get at a dealership

The Revell kit you saw has pulled double duty as a Camaro and Firebird over the years so the body is a bit of a mix and match of shapes. I think the best Camaro of that body style is the Monogram 1/24 kit.

Yeah, that's it but certainly don't over pay for one. The yellow one that was posted in still pretty easy to find and has much better decals than the older ones.

This version is coming out later this year (no date has been given) but it is a decently proportioned model and does not have the T-Tops like the Revell/Monogram kits.
