Scenes Unlimited, Olson Brothers, Bolide

What happened to these guys? I was about to order more parts from Olson Brothers and their website will not allow orders.

 

Scenes Unlimited website is now an online casino or something and Bolides doesn't exist anymore.

 

Anyone know what happened? Will another retailer take over their designs??

Scenes Unlimited's product line has apparently been bought by ST Supply in Canada, but so far, many of the old SU products haven't made it back to market yet.

Olson Bros. has had personal issues affect their business (well documented here). Scenes Unlimited, as Ace mentioned, was sold to ST Supply who has slowly been casting the lineup and bringing inventory on board. ST Supply was a large customer of SU and when Danny decided he wasn't going to be able to continue the business with the service level he felt he needed to, Paul stepped in and took it over.  Fingers crossed that he brings the light truck tires back, there are/were some great tires in that line.

You may want to look at Fireball Modelworks, he has some nice stuff and offers great service too.

What I heard about Bolides, was that Chris was now focusing on 3D design and Jason at VCG was printing and making his work available thru his business. I hope it works out, Jason is great to deal with.

VCG is great! I've ordered from them a few times recently, with no issues. Bollide also was very good to deal with. I'm glad to see their products will still be available.
