Jim, I would have had no clue that you had problems with this kit. It looks like an excellent build to me. Glad you could find one of your bucket list models to build. I always enjoy when that can happen for me.

Thanks, Mark, I appreciate it. I really do like the 917, and I'm glad I made the model; but I wouldn't do it again. Once was definitely enough. Maybe a modeler with more skill would have had an easier time. I don't know.

Great build Jim, I'm glad someone else found the rear framework a pain, I seem to recall giving up on mine!!

Thanks, Dave. Yes, the rear framework was a royal pain, mostly because there was no place to hold the model without damaging it.
