Pretty decent kit to build. The contact points for the front and rear fascia/bumpers are on the small side, but held well with a combination of Tamiya Extra Thin and regular CA glue on top. 1

That satin look seems to be appearing on many high-end Mercedes I see in the 1:1 world. Thanks for sharing all the details you learned. I always learn so much from reading your posts. Despite the issues you had with the carbon fibre decal, I like the roof, and your fix with Gafer tape is very affective.
