Hi all picked up this kit as a built up unpainted model.

I have stripped it back to parts, decals are toast so have decided to order the le man's DeWalt set from Pattos Place.

Plan is to redo interior to try make it more realistic, no gear stick a rather pedestrian steering wheel and very generic square seat came with the kit some odd mouldings in the passenger side interior, and not convinced the cage is correct.

Boot is all wrong based on a reference I am using of a recently sold car, not the same chassis but assuming this is more correct that what is depicted on the kit.

Boot is now cut out, just removed the bottom panel to try redo it that way but may chop the whole rear off and rebuild around some reconstructed foot wells.

Chassis lacks detail so may look at a way to improve that to

Don't recollect seeing this TVR in the Airfix catalogue here in the UK. Maybe it is not and marketed under the Hornby brand name in the USA.

I don't recall these models ever being available as Airfix kits either. I believe this line of Hornby models was based on Scalextric slot car body molds.
