This is quite simply a gorgeous model of a sports car icon. I love it! I really dig the LP400, though all other iterations of the Countach leave me cold. Once they started tagging wings and flares and gills on it, ruining those gorgeous original lines, I lost all interest. The LP400 also had the nicest looking of all Countach wheels, which are only 14". This requires a fat sidewall tire, which has a dramatic effect on the look of the early Countach. I’m going to try thinning the paint a little more and/or perhaps giving the colour coat a light spray with 100% Mr. Levelling Thinner as I’ve heard this can reduce orange peel.
