Coronet is 99% done ,,waiting on redline tires .I was going to do that White Freightliner wheelstand truck but I picked this up on Ebay about a week or so ago and I'm gonna start this instead ,,do it pretty much stock but plumbed/wired ,etc  .I also have the Moebius smooth side trailer that I'll do to match , along the lines of this along with IH logo decals

Will be a good project.

For being over 50 years old the kit is in great shape,,vent window frame was broken on cab,,fixed,,,,the decal sheet doesn't look too good though ,,,,lol . I was tempted to put the Auslowe 12V-71 in it but I might do that to the 4070A Round2 kit instead

Nice choice I liked the 1.1 and the Model.  Here’s some pics of my 1979 Transtar Eagle I owned back in 1995 it had a 430 boat anchor 2 stroke DD. Wish it had a 318 instead. Maybe you can use these pics for some reference if need.

It could have been worse, it could have had the real boat anchor, their own four stroke V-800.?
The 430 was a 8V-92 was it?

Yes it was the 8V-92. Yeah I guess the V-800 would have not been much better I just had a lemon with that 8V-92

It wasn’t no fuel Squeezer at 4mpg it was definitely a 430. I had trouble with water pumps going out heads were spider cracked just one thing after another with that truck. The paint job looks great on your cab.

I like the motor detail,  right down to the wires and labels. I have never done that to the motors, just build them from kit. Maybe  after  seeing  so many details on here I should start doing this in the future.

...............cab paint done...stripe decals ordered ,then clear coat

What colors and brand of paint did you use on the cab?  I really like this color combo and can't wait to see how it looks with the decals applied.

MCW paints,,, the red is Chrysler Engine Red which is a match for IH Red , the white is basic Gloss White and Antique Silver  ,all enamels
