Niiiiicceee !!!  The fleet looks great there. I particularly like the General, it looks very business like with the floats and the dark grille. Top drawer wood working skills too. Love it !

Thanks Jeff yup the General is one of my favorites, such a simple build, no frame stretch, just added a flat bed and a few details. I have the Chevy version of this truck and a leftover cargo box with lift gate that I may do up this winter.

A Bison build. That’s one I will be looking forward to. It will be a great companion to the General.

The display (and case) looks really good, Gary!  Is that your logging truck on the bottom shelf?

Thanks, yes, I built that logging truck many years ago, still needs some finish

I see you're into a lot of wheels on a rig! Awesome collection!

These are very normal trucks here in Michigan where much of my inspiration comes from, secondly, I really enjoy building the heavy haulers and the challenges of building them. Just seen a 7 axle dump trailer pulling a 3 axle second trailer pulled by one 3 axle (maybe a tri-drive) Kenworth, massive rig on our roads.

Really awesome rigs!

Could you post some Pics of those trucks that inspirated you?

I'm always interested in the real life trucks!

That’s a great idea.

Here are some recent photos. First photo is a debris trailer, when logging, the limbs are stripped off, ground and blown into a trailer and sold to some power company’s to burn for energy. They can be blown in from the top or from the rear thru a gated rear door.

just got this picture today of the new rear door setup on a debris  trailer, they are open top with a roll over tarp,

the new White Wester Star logging trucks, Kenworth have been king up here but we are seeing many new logging trucks made from the Western.

our dump trailers are massive and yes he is pulling a pup trailer as well.

notice that most new trucks are running wide singles and some of these singles are almost as wide as a pair of duals, extremely wide for flotation off-road.

Great Pics! Thanks for posting!

I was on the road the other day and saw an old White Road Commander from Romania!

Gray with blue stripes and extremely aged!

I couldn't take a pic though cause I was driving and using my mobile as a GPS!

That was the first American truck I had seen in ages!
