Amazing work, Victor.  It’s like a treasure hunt, seeing all the added detailing - working doors/ramps, to the drip rails above them!  How will you protect your finished interior, come time to paint the exterior?  Going to be incredibly impressive when it’s in primer, too!

Thanks, I appreciate it. My plan is to seal the gaps around the doors with tape on the inside. Though the gaps are very narrow, I know that paint has a way of getting into everything. I’ll seal the front seam in the roof from the inside as well, where it meets the front cap. The rest of the roof friction fits tightly downward onto and over the walls, so I hope all goes well with that.

I haven’t had a lot of time to dedicate to the project in the past month. But, I managed to get the body work done on the exterior of the trailer, and I was able to begin the process of laying down primer.

There wasn’t as much filling and sanding as was on the coach body, so I was able to skip the heavier primers and go straight to Mr. Hobby Black 1500.IMG_1152.jpeg.7725a460e7b52988e29a27bc9a485f3e.jpeg

As usual, the primer exposes small, but noticeable flaws that’ll need a little more work. However, just getting it into black, even if it’s primer, makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something.

Some fairly clear milestones in every project and being in primer is definitely one of them.  Looks awesome as is, but really looking forward to the first mock up you do of the trailer behind the RV!

Not sure why that second photo makes the roof look like it’s sagging a little. It’s straight. Must be the camera angle? Anyway, I’ll do a mock up with the toter when I get a chance.

I agree about the camera angle - also, when taking pics with my iPad, some angle shots have that 'fish-eye' lens effect, making the image slightly rounded.  It's annoying!

I agree, somewhat of a fish-eye effect with the iPhone camera. I bet there’s some way to avoid or correct it, but it is annoying.
