BigGary Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 No, we don't all hate it. We may misunderstand what you're trying to portray. If your trying to show a stalled project that is looking for a new home, you've done a fair job of it. I needs a context, such as on a diorama, that would help. Also, maybe you could whip out a "For Sale" sign to put on it somewhere. Just my thoughts. Gary
george 53 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Is that the Dukes Charger? Or is it an ORIGINAL MPC Dodge Charger? I don't think It'll sell till you put some tires'n wheels on it though. But once she's up an runnin, you can probly name your price! I had to sell my 69 440 R/T 4spd,way back in the 70's,But I'd buy that rascal if it were inna barn/Garage forgotten somewhere!
scubadiver411 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I think you are on the right track. If you like this engine and can use it somewhere else, pull it out, paint the hood semi-gloss black and put it on there, then put the metal axle thru the bottom hole to raise up the front end a bit, and throw some painted steelies on there. Throw a "For Sale" sign on it and add it to a diorama. I'm in the process of doing the same thing with the Dukes of Hazard Charger. The car is in grey primer with the doors, hood, and trunk in black primer. The engine will be missing, so the metal axle will go in the bottom holes to give the front end the "lifted" look. When the car is done, it will sit on a flatbed truck infront of my 3-bay garage, ready to go in the garage to be "finished". STEVE ALLEN
RodneyBad Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 a theme build ~Project car that is now for sale~ Looks like somebody got over their head in car build. A stock set of mismatch steel wheels up front for rolling around the shop. Just enough lug nuts to hold them on. Body work looks good. Rust out the rear quarter panels.. I'd cut out the top of the blowers intake and stuff some rags into it. how's in the inside look? Just relax and post. not every body post comments right away till they find out what's goin on.
