kruleworld Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 Holden Hurricane, a 1969 show car from Australia. Unfortunately no 1/24 scale models of this car have ever been released. 1/25 scale, 3D printed, painted in Tamiya Racing Blue. it took a long couple of months to get the body in decent shape, but worth it for the subject matter. I first printed it on my FDM printer, but ended up doing it on a resin printer for better detail and sharper lines. by aus_mus, on Flickr 3
XYHARRY Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 I remember reading about this concept car some time ago, it was powered by the newly developed 253 ci v8. It was never meant for production and only used at dealerships to draw customers in. Well done Walter. Cheers, David. ??
stitchdup Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 cool car. it reminds me very strongly off the vauxhall vxr concept cars from the same era, but given how closely vauxhall and holden were related they probably used the same designers 1
Chinacar Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 This was a great concept I remember it well. Nice job on this one, I've got the 1:18 die cast version.
Rattlecan Dan Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 Very slick looking car. Nice job on the model build. Very unique.
Yeah Nah Posted March 17, 2024 Posted March 17, 2024 Nice model and subject choice Walter! Aussie concept cars are few and far between so good to see you do this one.
