Dan Wilson Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 Hello, I'm prepared to apply decals to a Revell Pro Modeler Series Daytona Charger. It appears the kit release year is 1998. However, the decals are extremely delicate and are tearing or cracking as I peel them off the paper backing. Can someone advise me about a method to prepare the decal set to avoid the rips and cracks? Thank you, Dan W.
JollySipper Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 (edited) It sounds like you need some of this stuff...... https://www.modelroundup.com/Liquid-Decal-Film-from-Microscale-p/msi-12.htm You just apply it with a brush over the decal sheet, then let it dry. There's other ways, such as spraying them with clear, but the film in the link is especially for this...... Edited June 3, 2024 by JollySipper 2

Mike 1017 Posted June 4, 2024 Posted June 4, 2024 I have made copies of bad decals with my printer and decal paper. This method works great for me. Mike
