carsntrucks4you Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 (edited) This is a 1949 Ford Pilot V8 E71A. This was the first large British Ford after WW II. It was powered by a221 cui Flalthead V8. Beside the saloon , estate wagon, pickup, ute and panel van were produced. In 1950 a Ford Pilot won the Tulip Rally in the Netherlands and the Lisbon International Rally in Portugal. From 1947 to 1951 22,155 Pilots were build in Dagenham/UK and in Australia.
