AlbertS Posted June 23, 2024 Posted June 23, 2024 Just wondering if anybody knows of a 1/24 or 1/25 large-displacement engine around 500 cubic inches that anyone has available or if the resin folks have one coming along eventually? Am intending to put it into a 50's old school (used to be a tractor trailer truck but is now) semi-retired farm dump truck? Thanks in advance for your response/guidance.
TrucksMT Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I'm kinda looking for something similar, like a GMC 503 I6
NOBLNG Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 (edited) Can’t help, but here is a pic of the GMC 426/503 on the left and a GMC 302 on the right. It’s a huge beast!😬 And here is a pic of the GMC V-12 in a hotrod. I believe Texas 3d makes both the V6 and V12 version. Edited December 30, 2024 by NOBLNG 1 1
leafsprings Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Was thinking about a big 6 gas job also for build. The Mack 6 cyl. diesel has similar dimensions of the big 503. Valve cover looks similar to a V8 Detroit Diesel. Add a distributor cap and spark plug wires, could get close. 1
