Lunajammer Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 (edited) July 3rd, a deadly quiet day at the office with the sales staff either off or "working remotely" ?. I decided to make a pencil drawing. I didn't like how thin the graphite looked so I started highlighting with a fat, black marker which was very clunky. I found some 25 year old Pantone markers, only the fat ends worked so I was basically burying the problems with problems. With further touchups with a 25 year old felt pen and a white pastel pencil, I finished. Been a long time since I tried markers, now I remember why I never liked using them. BTW, I traced the basic outline so don't give me too much credit. Edited July 4, 2024 by Lunajammer 5
Phirewriter Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 That's cool. I like the B&W tones you used. Years ago I was the art dept manager at a large hobby shop and had a customer who worked with Copic markers. She could render subjects with a variety of grey tones that looked like vintage photos. Always liked that look, great job!
