The Creative Explorer
If there is a kit made of this car, it is going to be a 3 door hatch.
BigPoppa
A few years ago there was resin kit of a 2 door metro. I think one of the mags did a small feature on someone who used it to make a bunch of goofy conversions, including a bus.

I think one of the mags did a small feature on someone who used it to make a bunch of goofy conversions, including a bus. It was a Metro convertible conversion done by Joel Dirnberger. That's the closest anyone has come to offering a Metro/Swift. He started w/a Geo Storm promo but did a ton of work to convert it. Joel Dirnberger's Metro Page He hasn't updated his webpage in over 4 years.

RodneyBad
Sad thing, No Metros or swifts. I have some Storms but they are made by Isuzu for suzuki. The Leeza would be the closest thing to start with. You can find a Suzuki Alto, another great lil car we didn't get here. Joel Dirnberger's Metro Page Very Cool. nice conversions.

One is the ulra rare Ultraman 1/32-24 toy I keep mentioning. Near impossible to 0 impossible to find. Makes me wonder how many they made back in 01. B_rad88
Yes its an old topic, but I was wondering if Norman of replicas and miniatures or Maryland ever finish the resin casting of the convertible? And does any one have pics of the promo metros?
