Last Saturday I was a the Aoshima Work Shop in LA. They had three kit for sale of the initial D (street racing manga) series and all three in 1/32. These are snap kits, easy and fun to build them. The quality of those Snap kits (Same quality of the 1/12 -1/24) are great! Parts fit perfectly, and there is no flash on the casting. You can build them with basic tools, cutter, tweezer and maybe a q-tips for the decls. The decals also are nice, they are sticker size, soft enough to go around tight spots and strong enough to stay in place. These kits offer a great base to be customized too!  Anothe cool thing that is offered in diferent Aoshima kits, is that you can choose the height of the car, you can have with a regular height or a slick racing height.

During the Work Shop, the Aoshima team gave me (for free) Takeshi Nakazato's Nissan GT-R.  The first thing I notice after opening the box, was the body of the car. Casted in black, and was impressive see how shiny it was. Look a the photos.

Here a photo that I did at home, just to see the reflection. Impressive on a kit built out of the box.
