iamsuperdan Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 Every July the Calgary Vintage European Car Club (or whatever the official name is) hosts their annual show. Weather is always hot and sunny. Lots of beautiful things to see. Arguable, the rarest and coolest car there. And he didn't clean it. And because the normal Mini is just too darn big... 4
iamsuperdan Posted July 22, 2024 Author Posted July 22, 2024 Then they always have a section for tuner and "other" vehicles. 2
Bainford Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 Cool stuff, Dan. Lots of great stuff there. Really digging that RS200.
Richard Bartrop Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 That was a great show. For me, the star was this Pegaso. You just don't see these, anywhere. 1
Bainford Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 Oh, that's just lovely. I have never seen one in person.
Richard Bartrop Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 I thought this Lancia Fulvia was pretty sweet too. My two favourites from the tuner show.
iamsuperdan Posted July 22, 2024 Author Posted July 22, 2024 Yeah, we drive down every year for the show. And there are always cars that weren't there the previous year. Keeps it different, which I like. And when was the last time you saw two Countach together? I'm not sure I have!
Richard Bartrop Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 I know? There was just so much stuff there. It says something that after a while you're going, "Ho hum, another Lamborghini..."
Richard Bartrop Posted July 22, 2024 Posted July 22, 2024 There were lots of MGs there, but when was the last time you say a YT touring model?

I was in England for a few weeks and went to the MG 100th anniversary show at the Beaulieu Motor Museum and there was one there. If I recall, it was green. I'm sure I have a pic of it on the computer at home.
