Well, there's what looks like an MPC decal on the lower rocker near the rear tire.

I first thought it might be the MPC Saber Vette because that kit had the injector scoops and similar rear tires. It was also 1:20 scale. But the wheels are wrong for that kit and I don't recognize the decals. Maybe it's the Spitfire Funny Car kit?

MPC kitted a rash of 1970s Corvettes, and I admit this one has me stumped. I'm sure there's a few folks on this board that know what it is, though.

Where did you find the pic?

The kit shown is an MPC Vette. MPC made Vettes in both 1/20th and 1/25th scale. I really think this is the 1/20 kit with the rear wheels radiused. Its a neat design that fits the period well. You could look for identification numbers on the back of the kit and search it that way. Also the markings typically tell who the manufacturer was.

I have that decal sheet, it is 1/25 scale.  The built model pictured is 1/25 also.  The 1/20 scale MPC Corvette kits had Hurst Mag wheels, the 1/25 scale kits had the ones pictured.

Original decal sheets from that era (AMT and MPC) will have a date code on the back.  A mid/late 1969 code (7-69 or similar) would indicate a 1970 annual kit.  Many of those hit the stores in September or thereabouts.

The '72 kit had decals that match the illustration on that box.  That's not to say that some of them didn't come with the Stroker sheet, but that would be an exception and not what usually came in the '72 kit.

Round 2 parts pack, also in a number of kits.  Looks like a clean recent build of an original kit.

My decal sheet is dated 7-72 on the back...it would seem to be from one of the MPC '73 annual kits (coupe or convertible).
