SPAD XIIIC.1 from Glencoe Models 1/48th scale

This was a fun little build that I was able to get at no charge using Hobbylinc.com’s rewards program. Someday I may man up and do all the rigging but for now I’m fine with it. I used various decals from the quite extensive sheet to make my own fictitious fighter. All paint is Apple Barrel craft paint thinned with washer fluid and airbrushed followed with Mr.Hobby Matte Clear.

Very cool SPAD. Very well done. I hear you on the rigging! Still haven't rigged my Stearman.

Another super clean nicely painted plane !  Just shows that these basic kits make some very presentable models !
