Musclecarbuilder Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Just wondering if anyone made a V6 engine for a '99-04 ford mustang V6. Thanks!
64Comet404 Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 The basic engine can be found in the Revell 1989-90 Ford Thunderbird/Mercury Cougar kits. You would need to scratchbuild or design an intake manifold, but there may be one available through one of the 3D print people. Good luck!

ncbuckeye67 Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 The AMT Ford Ranger kits had a nice V-6 in them. Not sure what the intake setup is like, though. I have one in my junkyard (complete, not painted).

sfhess Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Rangers never had the 3.8/4.2 V6 as used in the Mustangs of that era.
Bob Ellis Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 Is this V6 a Cologne V6?MPC and AMT kits had them. Last one was a reissue 1977 ERTL/AMT Mustang

The Super Coupe engine has the same basic block and heads as the Mustang V6. You would have to fab up an intake plenum and accessory drive for a Mustang install. Edited October 1, 2024 by sfhess
