jjsipes Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 I started this one some years ago. This is built using a "kit" from Speed City Resin. This has fought me along for some reason. I painted it with Tamiya paints and Scale Finishes Blue Fire Metallic on the roof. Slixx decals were used. The side windows are cut from a piece of thin blue tinted plastic sheet that I found years ago in my locsl Hobbytown USA. This has the graphics from early in the season. I don't believe I have seen this one built that often. 9
Nitro330 Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 Awesome job Jason, looks great! Really like the products from Speed City Resin. Just used some parts from them on my 65 Dodge AWB.
papajohn97 Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 (edited) Beautiful job Jason! I built and posted a S&M hardtop last year I built using the Moebius AWB kit and have seen two others posted. I like that you accurately painted the undercarriage white, something I believe they did to increase visibility during wheel stands. I love these early ‘65 AWB funnies, looking forward to seeing a bunch of ‘65 Dodge AWB machines posted here soon now that the Moebius kit has been released. M W Elky Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 It looks absolutely fantastic you can’t go wrong with the Sox & Martin red white and blue one of my favorite awb mopars. It looks really cool next to the afx sedan
