Have any of you tried 1:12 scale motorcycle chains for 1:25 scale heavy trucks?

Sets like these come in the variety of scales motorcycle kits are offered in.  I'm not sure what scale would be close to size to 1:25-24 truck drive chains.

I used some Hiro motorcycle chains for the sand conveyor in my plow truck - think it was 1/12 scale.  My truck is 1/24 and I’m working off of 1mm = 1 inch (approx).  1/12 chain was a bit small and 1/9 chain was a bit too big for what I wanted and Isettled on 1/12.  Sand conveyor below is not finished but you can see the scale of the chain for the sander.  Hope this helps

I checked my photos again, and the motorcycle chain I used was a Decalcas chain from Spot Model, not Hiroboy.

Bu any chance are you planing an old school chain drive Kenworth, Brian?

Look up "fusee chain" on Ebay (or, wherever you prefer).
