Raoul....so I finally finished going through my back issues of Mopar Muscle and then started on the several-decade pile of Mopar Action mags yesterday.  And what do I see???   Another large color pix of the Sport S. in the Richard E. technical advice column, along with a series of questions from you and answers from Richard on your stoker project.  Man, you and your SS wag are famous, it seems, in the hardcore Mopar fandom base (of which, I guess, we are both members, too!)

Anyway, best wishes for finishing up the powertrain revisions and hope you post the news somewhere in the forum here when it gets done....Best....TIM

Both of those are funny stories. The first one you found. My friend dared me to send the pic in with some info. He swore that it was unique and that they probably haven't seen anything like it and would feature it. I didn't think it would as it was not what they focused on. Being a wagon and a custom but to my surprise he was right. I sent it in and three months later it was on the back page as a reader's ride.

The question on the engine build was the same way. I sent the email and a few hours later he responded. My original question was posted and so was most of his answer. What was not posted was he loved what I was wanting to do, and the question and project was so different from what they normally got that he said he was thinking about publishing it and asked if I had a decent picture of the car. So, I sent that in, and it got published also!

Thank you TIM! now back to our regular program! LOL.

I really need to build one of these Chargers! It's really the only one I have not built, I think.

The 70 Charger kit is nice.  Only issue I have is with how the front wheels are put on and not able to pose the front wheels, right or left.  You have to use the little steel pins.  Had Revell did a little better with the front suspension like on the 68 and 69 Charger kits where you had the more detailed king pins and poseable front wheels would have made it better kit.
