After composing a longish post the site does not let me submit it.

Often when I make a longish post the site does not allow my submission.

Sometimes I can go onto another thread and go back and retrieve my post composition and it will accept it.

Last time I got really annoyed as it appeared to retrieve my post and I pressed for it to save. Then I had to say that I was not a robot !

On top of that I had to verify my email address, which I did.

And do you know what ? It said my email address belonged to another member. By this time I was getting really irritated !

I was so jarred off after the time spent posting being a waste that I just gave up on it in the end !

Has anyone else been having this sort of problem ?

This problem if regularly happening to other posters too really needs to be looked into .

I (and others) had similar issues years ago, and the solution at that time was to compose the text in Word and copy/paste into the post.

Thanks for the tip Bill ! I will keep that in mind.

Thinking back, I think it must time out as my composition typing can be a bit slow.

I think that I have a way of getting around it, by saving after the first few lines, and then going back and using the editing function to enable me to add more text to my post. Will have to try it and see if it will work.
