I bought a 67 impala pro street chassis from Jerry's and was totallt DISSSSATISFIED WITH HIS PRODUCT. It was full of repaired holes, thin spots, and the back half was even molded crooked. Like the model was hit in an accident and the frame and floor were bent. I emailed him and he wouldn't replace it. I'll never buy from this guy again. From coolcars09 :D

I was wondering the same thing, I had a friend who bought a chassis from him, and it was loaded....and I mean loaded with pinholes and it was warped. Judging by the pinholes it actualy looked to be a improper resin ratio. Some slight swirling was evident too. This is a few years ago, so Not sure if the parts have been improved or not.

Why does that guy have great feedback and all five stars in each of his seller ratings?

The buyer usually has to leave feedback before the seller. So if you give him bad feedback he will leave you bad feedback. And as where the buyer is concerned it can make it harder to purchase if you have bad feedback.

Sellers can nolonger leave the buyer neg feedback .Epays great new ideal

THIS IS VERY TRUE!!!! I just got a very unjustified neg feedback tonight. I am TICKED!! I am sick of this kind of stuff on E-bay and I have no recourse. I cannot leave him negative feedback. And this guy that we are talking about is getting away with selling garbage and has a feedback rating that you would think that he is the second coming!!!!!!!!!! He will NOT be able to give you negative feedback. GIVE IT TO HIM!! Did you also know that if a seller has less then %100 they have to pay higher listing fees. So stop slamming bad sellers on messageboards and give them the feedback that they deserve!

On the other side of that note. If there is a problem with something in your e-bay order. Like you have not received the item yet. Contact the seller before you roll him with neg feedback. Even E-bay says to give the seller a chance. This guy gave me bad feedback today for not getting the item and I never heard from him. I thought that all was fine. Well I sent it and have the proof. He cannot get his money back from Pay Pal because I have a tracking number that shows that it was mailed. He is out of luck, because why should I help him out. If he would have contacted me. I would have taken care of him. He might of even gotten some extra stuff. NOT NOW! So please. Think, and use the feedback system fairly. As a seller our hands are tied. We cannot give bad feedback. E-bay really should change that. It is not fair at all.

People. If the sellers leave. You will not have anything to buy. And e-bay goes away. We could only wish.

WOW. only his second posting.

Makes ya wonder.

Self promotion??

I am new to Ebay but the seller has left Feedback first.

I don't leave feedback untill I get my stuff.

Be kind've dumb to give a seller Feedback before you get your stuff.

I may not get my stuff with in 3 days of paying but If I get it (whole other story)

I only started but I'm gonna quit well I'm still ahead.

I've never sold anything on the bay, but I have bought alot of stuff there. Never had ANY trouble, except one jerk from Canada, who took a month and a half to send me something. When I contacted him, he said my E-Mail wasn't working, so he couldn't contact me.Funny how he got thru to me when I told him I was gonna notify E-bay he hadn't sent my item, and I wanted my money back. My E-mail was sure workin then!!!

Even when I trade, or just give away stuff, I ALWAYS send the recipient a confirmation number, it only cost 78 cents for Pete's sake! And that way he can check with the post office if he doesn't get it!:lol:

I think its rather dumb that sellers wont leave feedback until feed back is recieved. It makes common sense for a seller to leave feedback for a fast payment.

Have you done much selling on there? I use to always leave pos feedback once I got payment. It has gotten to the point that buyers just do not leave any for us sellers anymore. After I went 20 or so sales, straight, without one feedback (BAD OR GOOD) given. I desided to make it my policy that I do not give feedback until it is given to me. When I did that, I started to get about 50 or 60 % buyers giving me feedback, again. That is better then nothing. I got the idea to put that in my listing afer reading that on a bunch of seller's listings. All the sellers can't be wrong. That practice had to start from somewhere and that somewhere is the buyers not leaving us any feedback. The sellers are not ALWAYS the evil ones in this game. There are 2 sides to every story. It also does not seem to effect my sales. Sales have been quite good.

My experience with the product..... Pure garbage ! Pin holes, patches , not molded completely through, extremely rough surface , the list just goes on ! The Raven said " Never more ! " , I say " Never again !" Another lesson learned from Evilbay.

Most of the people I have delt with as both a seller and buyer have been good, though I have not dealt with this seller.

As for the ebay bit being two sides, I have to agree whole heartedly. When I was a seller, I learned very quickly to just put in the extra few cents for tracking. I could always tell the buyer when it got to their house when they said they didn't get the item.

Oh, and bad buyers, they are out there. One tried to sabotage one of my high value auctions by opening an account, selecting a buy it now auction and leaving immediate negative feedback saying they never got the item and I ripped em off and all that. Luckily, I've only had to deal with one real jerk and he, I believe, was responsible for that sucker-play (both profiles listed little towns in Oregon as home). He then bid on and won the high-dollar collectable and posted bad feedback that he said he'd retract if I refunded some of his money (blackmail?)... So, the next time I put up high dollar collectables that I knew he would want, I banned him from bidding. I also noticed he changed his name, possibly in an attempt to bid on the item I was selling???

This Jerry guy appears to not be too knowledgeable in the resin casting department and as long as the ebay rules allow him, I don't think he will change.

I'm tired of buying expensive soap dishes, so now I only buy resin parts and bodies from Perry's, Replicas in Miniature, Competion resin or Drag City!

All thre of these compaines are first rate stand behind their stuff, are honest and are willing to answer any questions.

If you haven't tried their parts give them a try you won't be disappointed. Bob

Sorry for dragging up this old post.

I was really looking at some of the pro street chassis on ebay but from the responses here I will look else where.

Does anyone else make pro street or drag chassis like these?

I would make my own but I am all out of extra chassis and still have bodies looking for a home.

Thanks!
